Texas CHL class
The Concealed Handgun License Classes at Off Duty Armory are taught every Saturday (excluding holiday weekends) and one Monday each month by Texas Certified Instructors. Your $99.00 fee includes the state mandated ten hours of instruction, photographs, target, hearing protection, eye protection and proficiency testing on our state of the art indoor range. Classes are held Saturdays and one Monday each month from 8AM to 6PM and are one 10-hr complete class. Click on “Schedule” link on website to see full schedule of classes.
Concealed Handgun License Renewal Classes are 4-5 hours as required by the State, and are held in one session beginning at 8:00AM every Saturday and one Monday per month also. The instruction fee is $75.00. Proficiency testing is included at our state of the art indoor range.
What you need to bring to class
You will need to provide a 32 caliber or larger handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition and eye and ear protection. Ammunition must be brass or nickel cased. No aluminum, laquer coated or steel case or steel core ammunition is allowed. Off Duty Armory has quality handguns available for rent for $15.00 ea. and we sell all calibers of ammunition. (You must use ammunition purchased from us for rental handguns).
The class does not provide instruction for handgun use; you must be proficient prior to taking the class.
